After the Black Neck Crane Festival, we stopped at Gante Goempa Another view of the inside of Gante Goempa

Gante Goempa is a beautiful place above the Phoebjikha valley After Gante Goempa, we stopped at the Punaka Dzong.

Punaka Dzong is also spectacular - positioned where two rivers converge My first attempt at making home-made perogies! Nade helped me too.

With the UN Staff association, we had a picnic at the Cheri Monastary. By the Cheri Monastary, a Covered Bridge

The first big group hike that I did went to the Phadjoling Pass near Thimphu. Here we're just over 4000 meters. On Phadjoling Pass day hike - Jason Hanging over Thimphu Valley
